Resources and instructional materials help support student learning in many ways. Strong resources and instructional materials serve as cognitive anchors by rooting student work towards academic excellence and by providing students with a criteria for success. Resources could be selected readings, templates, graphic organizers, rubrics, exemplars, teacher generated, etc. Moreover, resources and instructional materials could be used by teachers to design effective learning experiences as well.
